Where we work: Mississippi, the Mid-South, and beyond

We work in person across Mississippi and the Mid-South from our office in Tupelo, and remotely anywhere in the US for design, commissioning support, and monitoring. Distance changes how we work, not what you receive.

A giant drafting pantograph stretches across a contour map; a small drafter at one end traces a ceiling plan while the far end redraws it over a distant building, whose fixtures glow where the pen has passed.

Utilities and programs by region

Your utility decides which incentive program applies, and the meter, not the city limit, decides your utility. We confirm it from your bill during the survey, and we never quote incentive amounts before the program confirms them.

Where we work in person

Our office and Lab are in Tupelo, on the I-22 corridor between Memphis and Birmingham. That puts most of the Mid-South within a day’s drive:

  • North Mississippi: Tupelo, Oxford, Starkville, Columbus, Corinth, and the towns between, most within about an hour.
  • Memphis and West Tennessee: about two hours to Memphis, a little less to Olive Branch and Southaven.
  • North Alabama: about two hours to the Shoals, and roughly two and a half to three hours to Huntsville or Birmingham.
  • The rest of Mississippi: about three hours to Jackson, and a planned overnight trip to the Gulf Coast.

We don’t keep satellite offices. Every field visit starts in Tupelo, and we plan multi-day work so you aren’t paying for windshield time.

Remote work nationwide

Outside the Mid-South, we take on work that doesn’t need our boots on every floor: controls design and specification, remote commissioning support for a local contractor, BMS and IoT integration, code compliance reviews, and Ledger monitoring for portfolios. For multi-site owners, we write the standard, pilot it, and verify each site remotely.

What “contractor” means here

If you searched for a lighting controls contractor in Mississippi, here’s what we are. We design, program, commission, and connect lighting control systems from any manufacturer, and we monitor them afterward. Licensed electrical contractors install the fixtures and wiring. We coordinate with yours, review their submittals, and test their work against the sequence of operations, so you have one party responsible for how the system behaves.

How to start

For most owners, the first step is a Baseline Assessment: a site walk, a look at your utility bills, and a sample test of whatever is already in the ceiling. The fee is credited toward the project if you go ahead.

Not sure whether your building is in reach?

Send us the address and a short description. We'll tell you which utility program applies and how we'd staff the work.
